Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Vercept’s core product, Vy, is a native macOS application engineered to support productivity by integrating with existing desktop software.

Designed as an intuitive AI-powered assistant, Vy enables users to automate repetitive tasks, schedule and execute custom workflows, and receive intelligent guidance on more complex activities—such as navigating unfamiliar interfaces or performing design edits. The acquisition enables Anthropic to integrate Vercept’s computer‑use technology and team to improve Claude’s ability to perform multi‑step tasks inside live software applications.
