Founded in 2014 and based in New South Wales, Australia, Ventia Pty Ltd provides essential services, including design, asset management, facilities management, operations and maintenance, and minor capital works through its deep technical expertise and technology-enabled solutions. The company was formed following the merger of Visionstream, Thiess Services and Leighton Contractors Services division. On 30 June 2020, Ventia acquired Broadspectrum (formerly Transfield Services) for AUD 465 million. The deal was a part of the divestment of Ferrovial’s services subsidiary and comprises the Broadspectrum businesses in Australia and New Zealand.

In May 2016, Ferrovial acquired Broadspectrum for its operation in New Zealand, Australia, the US, Canada and Chile.   The company has multiple subsidiaries and joint ventures that provide infrastructure services to its client. Some of its subsidiaries are Delron (now Ventia), Easternwell, Icd Asia Pacific, Ten Rivers (now Ventia), and Ventia Training Services and its joint venture includes Brisbane Motorway Services (BMS), Netflow, Skout, Suez Ventia Jv, Utilita and Venture Smart. The company offers operations and maintenance, digital solutions, facilities management, property and consulting, environment services, network build and design, asset management, and engineering and capital works services to corporate and government clients in multiple industries, including energy, water, defense, utilities, telecommunications transport, social infrastructures and resources.
