Based in Seoul, South Korea, and founded in 2016, VALUE AND TRUST COMPANY digitalizes existing treatment methods for patients with spinal diseases by developing a garment-type scoliosis orthosis that provides products and services such as waist protectors and knee protectors. In 2016, the company signed a research and development partnership with Kyungpook National University Hospital and signed a domestic distributor contract with Dong-A ST for its hybrid scoliosis orthosis Spydynamic for AIS in June 2021. In June 2022, VALUE AND TRUST COMPANY raised an undisclosed amount in venture funding from returning investor TUNA INVESTMENTS, LLC. The company develops and produces Spydynamic for AIS, garment-type scoliosis orthosis developed and researched by itself, and it prevents the condition from worsening by compressing the curvature of the spine and correcting the distortion.
It combines the correction principle of a rigid orthosis with the convenience of a flexible orthosis and can also be customized according to the growth status of the youth.
