Uluu earns revenue by selling seaweed-based biomaterials to manufacturers, enabling sustainable products through direct sales, partnerships, and licensing for eco-friendly packaging, textiles, and industrial applications. In April 2026, Uluu raised AUD 2. 1 million in grant funding from Department of Industry, Science and Resources.
The company will use the April 2026 funding to scale production, run product trials, and secure regulatory approvals for its seaweed-based plastic alternative.
