Based in Prince Edward Island, Canada, and founded in 2019, Tracktile operates as a software development company that offers a platform for the manufacturing industry for traceability, inventory, and production. In July 2024, Tracktile raised CAD 575,000 in pre-seed funding co-led by investors BDC Capital and Island Capital Partner with the participation of the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation. The firm as of September 2024, is led by its co-founders, Jarred Kenny (CTO) and Jordan Rose (CEO). Tracktile specializes in cloud-based manufacturing software designed specifically for the Food and Beverage industry, offering two primary product lines: Tracktile Early Adopter Program (EAP) and Tracktile Essentials.

Tracktile EAP targets established organizations seeking to enhance operational performance and data management, while Tracktile Essentials caters to the needs of startups, solopreneurs, and small family-owned businesses. The software facilitates the automation of data collection and enables customizable reporting, allowing users to manage various aspects of their operations including production planning, inventory management, quality control, and shipment tracking. This approach aims to streamline processes, minimize manual documentation, and enhance traceability, ultimately addressing critical business challenges faced by manufacturers.   The company intends to utilize the July 2024 funding to expand its engineering, customer success, and sales teams adding five to six new team members.
