In April 2025, Toku SpA raised USD 48 million in series A funding led by new investor Oak HC/FT Partners, with participation from returning investors Clocktower Technology Ventures, F-Prime Capital, Gradient Ventures, Honey Island Capital, and Y Combinator. The company through its recurring payment platform supports businesses across various sectors including healthcare, finance, telecommunications, and real estate, to maximize revenue, minimize costs, and enhance customer payment experiences. Toku's platform automates the entire payment collection process, with features like automatic enrolment and payment processing, personalized payment portals for online transactions for businesses and their customers, and real-time payment reconciliation, as well as payment management and collection. The platform can be integrated via API, FTP, development-free files, and native integrations and offers client contact to businesses by facilitating their bill payment through email, SMS and/or WhatsApp.


The company plans to utilize the April 2025 funding to accelerate product development, expand operations in Mexico, Brazil, and Chile, and scale its sales and customer support teams.
