TLD Group

Based in Paris, France, and founded in 1897, Teleflex Lionel-Dupont, a. k. a. TLD Group is a manufacturer of airport and aeronautical ground support equipment, enabling airlines, airports, cargo airlines, ground handlers, and military organizations around the world to enhance their operations.

The company designs and assembles its products in its nine factories located in Asia, America, and Europe. In 1951, the company was listed on the Paris Stock Exchange under its new name Tissmetal Lionel-Dupont. In 1985, it was renamed Teleflex Lionel-Dupont (TLD) and created a ground support equipment division between 1990 to 1992. Between 1992 and 1998, Teleflex Lionel-Dupont sold off its industrial filtration, baggage handling systems, and aeronautical equipment divisions to focus on the aviation ground support equipment division.

In 2006, the ownership structure of TLD changed from a listed company to a privately owned company, and was acquired by ALVEST. The company’s product line includes a wide range of towbarless aircraft tractors, loaders, conventional aircraft tractors, ground power units, passenger steps, belt loaders, air conditioners, transporters, baggage tractors, air starters, lavatory and water trucks, trailers and dollies, catering trucks and derivatives, and maintenance platforms.
