In 2021 Cyrillus-Vertbaudet Group SAS agreed to sell its two brands as two separate entities to Alandia Industries and MGA Paris, the sale is expected to be completed in the first half of 2021.


Vertbaudet was founded in 1963 and operates as an online marketplace targeting the mid-range price segment of pregnancy clothing, children's clothing, footwear among others, and Cyrillus was founded in 1977 by Danielle Telinge and operates in the high-end classic segment of adult, children, baby, homeware products, and dresses. The company sells clothing lines and other accessories for all genders of children and adults through Cyrillus and Vertbaudet which were combined together as a single entity when it was acquired by Alpha Group. The company's products include pregnancy clothing, children's clothing, footwear, childcare products, toys, children's books, bedroom accessories, and high-end classic products including dresses, pants, shorts, swimwear, coats, and accessories. Both brands have their own e-Commerce sites with delivery services in France and other European markets and have a network of 75 retail stores with individual management teams.


The company generates revenue of approximately EUR 400 million annually and Cyrillus earned EUR 75 million in sales in 2020, compared to EUR 90 million previously earned. As of April 2021, the brand Vertbaudet’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) is about EUR 25 million. Its e-commerce platform has 3. 5 million online customers and generates annual revenue of approximately EUR 37.
