Tersus

Founded in 2014 and based in Suzhou, China, Tersus operates as a positioning and navigation company that engaged in developing GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) receivers and positioning technology. It has a research and development facility in Shanghai, a branch in Australia, and a sales branch in North America. The company was awarded the title of National High-tech Enterprise and Jiangsu Province Specialized and New Enterprise. In September 2017, the BX316 board was successfully developed.

In March 2025, Tersus closed series A funding from new investor Shenzhen Capital Real Estate Fund. Tersus GNSS offers a range of positioning solutions, featuring core products such as the Oscar GNSS receiver, TS10 GNSS receiver, and David GNSS receiver. These devices leverage advanced technologies like ExtremeRTK™ for tilt compensation and centimeter-level accuracy, serving industries including surveying, agriculture, construction, and autonomous vehicles. Tersus caters to a global market, encompassing North America, Europe, and Asia, with clients from various sectors including surveying firms and robotics developers.

Tersus GNSS generates revenue through direct sales of its GNSS receivers and related software solutions, primarily on a B2B model.   Tersus plans to launch new products by mid-2025. The company aims to expand into additional markets in Asia and Europe within the next two years. It will use the series A funding to increase R&D investment, expand markets, expand business, product development, and team building.
