Founded in 1992 and based in Bulgaria, Teda-MM Ltd. produces and manufactures a wide range of disposable plastic packaging, containers, cups, and paper bowls for the food market. In September 2021, CEECAT Capital acquired a majority stake in Teda-MM Ltd. and LDS PLAST LTD.
Following the transaction, the companies merged to form Goodpack Group. The company design, produce and supply a diverse range of packaging products that include containers with hinged lids, modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) containers, drinking cups, and specialised trays for food, salads, dairy products, and sweets. In addition to catering to the food industry, Teda-MM also manufactures packaging for hotel, restaurant, and catering services and the light industry, such as electrostatic discharge (ESD) transport trays for electronics. The company now offers a diverse selection of over 900 products.
The process involves sheet extrusion and co-extrusion, which covers the creation of sheets from materials such as polystyrene (PS), polypropylene (PP), and polyethene terephthalate (PET). The September 2021 acquisition enables Teda-MM Ltd. to accelerate its next phase of growth and packaging manufacturing capabilities for the food markets.
