Established in 2017 and based in Shanghai, China. Tangfeng Energy is a hydrogen energy and fuel battery company that engages in the R&D, and production of membrane electrodes. The company's R & D team is composed of 1 engineer, 8 doctors, and more than 20 masters, and the team members used to work in SAIC Motor, GM and NIO. It has a R&D centre in Shanghai.
Also, it co-established a joint lab with Shanghai Jiaotong University. And it also built a production centre, and a production and testing centre in Zhejiang. Its R&D center and production base were completed in 2018 and 2020, respectively. By the end of 2022, Tangfeng Energy has accumulated production of nearly 2 million pieces of membrane electrodes.
Tangfeng Energy engages in the design, material, process, equipment, test, and evaluation of fuel cell membrane electrodes. Its product, the low platinum membrane electrode, platinum loading less than 0. 25gPt/kW, is the first mass production of alloy catalyst membrane electrodes in China. And it adopts the processes of continuous compression molding (CCM) plaster, membrane electrode assemblies (MEA) automation packaging, and membrane electrodes molding.
It also provides a set of testing and analysis services from raw materials to power stack systems.
