Takenos

Based in Delaware, US, and founded in 2022, Takenos Inc. is a digital wallet platform designed for freelancers. In October 2025, Takenos raised USD 5 million in seed funding co-led by new investors Variant and Lattice Capital, with participation from other new investors Reverie, North Island Ventures, Refract Venture, Gumi Cryptos Capital, Nascent, and Polaris. Individual investors also participated in the round.

Takenos offers a global digital wallet tailored for freelancers, allowing them to receive payments globally in local currencies or stablecoins. The platform emphasizes secure transactions through two-factor authentication (2FA), instant withdrawals, and an intuitive interface. The service primarily targets freelancers in Latin America who utilize platforms like PayPal, Deel, Wise, UpWork, YouTube, and Twitch, enabling them to access their earnings in various currencies, including Argentine Pesos, euros, and dollars.  In addition, the company offers a mobile application for both Android and iOS users.

Takenos generates revenue through a transactional fee structure for its digital wallet services. The company will use the October 2025 funding to grow its engineering team, improve its crypto wallet infrastructure, and expand in Latin America.
