Based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and founded in 2020, TABAS Tecnologia Imobiliária Ltda, a. k. a TABAS is a real estate technology company for medium and long-term stays in Latin America. TABAS has over 1,000 apartments in three cities, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Brasilia.
In January 2022, TABAS raised USD 6. 6 million in Series A funding led by new investor Blueground Holdings Limited UK, with participation from Echo Capital and individual investors. The funding was part of a larger USD 14 million equity round. Additionally, in November of that same year, Blueground Holdings, a portfolio company of National Bank of Greece, VentureFriends, Endeavor Catalyst, Jabbar Internet Group, Prime Ventures, WestCap, Geolo Capital, and Silicon Valley Bank, acquired TABAS from Echo Capital.
The company is led by co-founder and CEO, Leonardo Morgatto. TABAS offers designer-quality furnished corporate apartments for flexible stays of 30 days or more in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Brasilia in which TABAS has over 1,000 apartments. Tabas plans to launch Mexico City in early 2023.
