Based in Rivers State, Nigeria, and founded in 2020 by its CEO, Folarin Olulana, T40 Technologies, doing business under the name T40, was initially launched as a provider of a global distribution system (GDS)-based online ticketing solution, but later on, it was redesigned as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) based mobility solution. In November 2021, T40 Technologies raised an undisclosed amount of venture funding from new investor GreenTec Capital Partners. As of 2021, the company processed over 6,000 bookings and has 12 employees. The T40 Technologies product line includes an operator management portal, a web application that supports an intercity transport operator to do business operations such as station, route, fare, vehicle, logistics, driver, and customer management; The Operator admin application enables intercity transportation service providers to issue electronic tickets directly from their cloud inventory.

A retail webshop allows expanding e-commerce sales channels; Travel booking app that allows users to search for and compare rides; T40 point-of-sale (POS) device, a mode of payment; and OBES, personalizable entertainment centers to improve the ride quality and provide an additional marketing channel. The company's client base includes LCR, Chisco, and city roller. The company plans to expand its team and business to Tunisia, Ghana, and Zambia.
