Founded in 2012 and based in Mumbai, India, Vellvette Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd. , trading under the name SUGAR Cosmetics, operates an online marketplace for selling beauty cosmetics for lips, face, and eyes. The firm was founded by the CEO, Vineeta Singh, and Kaushik Mukherjee, and has an omnichannel presence with over 10,000 retail outlets across 130 cities.

Vellvette Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd. has manufacturing facilities across Germany, Italy, the US, and Korea. In July 2025, SUGAR Cosmetics raised an undisclosed amount of series D funding led by returning investor Anicut Capital, with participation from other returning investors L Catterton, Elevation Capital, A91 Partners and Malabar Investments.

In July 2025, SUGAR Cosmetics raised INR 150 million in venture debt funding led by returning investor Stride Ventures. The round was part of a larger series D and debt funding. SUGAR Cosmetics provides a marketplace platform that enables users to purchase cosmetic and beauty care products. The firm sells make-up for lips, eyes, and face, and skin hygiene products such as moisturizers, masks, setting mists, and makeup remover.

The firm also sells collection kits such as handy makeup pouches with mini-size cosmetics to enable customers to bring their make-up with them, and skincare combos which include at least 3 to 6 packs of discounted beauty face masks. The company will use the funding to expand its skincare portfolio, enhance product innovation, and scale distribution.
