Founded in 1987 and based in California, US, Statewide Safety Systems, formerly known as Traffic Solutions Corporation, is a provider of traffic control and safety products and services with 18 locations in California, Hawaii, and Nevada. In 2020, the company, along with its four affiliated companies, Statewide Traffic Safety & Signs, Safety Systems and Signs Hawaii, Maneri Sign Co. , and Altus Traffic Management, rebranded under the name Statewide Safety Systems. In 2021, Sterling Partners, which acquired the company in 2018, sold Statewide Safety Systems to Area Wide Protective, a Kohlberg & Company portfolio company.
Statewide Safety Systems offers design, manufacture, and installation of traffic control systems for roadway hazards including interchanges, intersections, and the location of highway-rail grade crossings to motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians.
