Based in Sankt Gallen, Switzerland, and founded in 2001 by Carsten Koerl (CEO), Sportradar Group operates as a provider of sports data and content to sports federations, media companies, and betting sectors. In June 2014, EQT Partners acquired a 37% minority stake in Sportradar AG from its EQT Expansion Capital II and will reinvest via its EQT VI fund. In September 2021, Sportradar Group raised USD 513 million in an IPO, selling 19 million shares at USD 27 per share, above the expected USD 25–28 range on the NASDAQ. The listing valued Sportradar AG at USD 7.
98 billion. In September 2022, Ingame Sports raised USD 1 million in pre-seed funding led by investor Openner, with participation from investor Sportradar Group. Individual investors also participated in the round. Sportradar Group AG, through its in-house data collection systems, primarily collects and analyzes sports data for more than 20 different sports, which are distributed to bookmakers, national and international sports federations, and media companies.
The company also offers rights holder solutions, integrity services, sports media solutions, marketing services, OTT (over-the-top) solutions, and bookmaker operations.
