In October 2021, Spark EV Technology Limited raised GBP 250,000 in venture funding from investor Turquoise International. Spark EV Technology offers software development kits (SDKs) that integrate with vehicle systems to provide real-time range predictions.

These SDKs use a combination of vehicle data, driver behavior, and route information to estimate how far a vehicle can travel under current conditions. The predictions are tailored to individual drivers and can be displayed in various formats, such as numerical range estimates, route overlays, or map-based visualizations. The software can be installed in different environments, including in-vehicle displays, mobile applications, and cloud-based platforms. It is compatible with systems such as android auto and apple carplay.

In addition to its core software, Spark EV also provides consultancy services to help clients integrate and adapt the technology to their specific needs.   The October 2021 company will use the funding to develop and implement its technologies for the global EV market.
