About
Founded in 1986 and based in Singapore, Sivantos Pte. Ltd. is a medical device manufacturer which develops and provides hearing aids and other hearing related products for people with hearing impairment. In January 2015, the company was spun off from Siemens AG who sold Sivantos, known as Siemens Audiology Solutions at the time, to EQT, and subsequently became an independent business entity.
In the following year, the company launched its new hearing aid brand Signia. In March 2019, the company decided to merge with Widex, another hearing aid manufacturer based in Denmark, forming a new company and continuing its business as WS Audiology. The company mainly develops and manufactures hearing aids covering ITE and BTE brands such as HearUSA, audibene, Audio Service, Signia, Rexton and A&M. It also provides complementary accessories, smartphone apps and fitting software for its hearing aid users, as well as diagnostics workflow solutions and other related services.
