5 million in pre-seed funding led by Azolla Ventures, with the participation of the E14 Fund. The company provides filtration membrane technology that eliminates the need for energy- and resource-intensive chemical and thermal separation methods, as well as enable a recovery yield of over 95 percent of the critical materials in an electric vehicle battery for reuse. SiTration plans to use its proceeds from July 2022 funding to further develop its technology for the recovery of critical materials in the lithium-ion battery recycling process and accelerate talent acquisition.
