Based in Berlin, Germany, and was founded in 2020 by co-founders Malte Horeyseck and Philipp Triebel. MXP Prime Platform GmbH, trading as SellerX. The company operates as a brand acquisition from small-medium enterprise companies and grows into a business portfolio. In November 2020, SellerX raised its Seed funding, followed by venture funding in March 2021.


In August 2021, the company raised its Series B funding for USD 100 million. As of 2021, the firm has already raised almost a quarter of a billion EUR in debt and equity. It now includes almost 30 evergreen companies from various sectors.   The company offers brand acquisition and management services to Amazon-based businesses.


The company acquires Amazon brands and expands them by combining them into a business portfolio, allowing Amazon-based businesses to sell their operations for a reasonable price. The funding in August 2021 will further raise its debt and keep building its portfolio by acquiring the best Amazon sellers in Europe, the US, and China.
