SEEV

Established in 2021 and based in Guangzhou, China, SEEV is a provider of micro-nano optical device that focuses on the design, development, and production of AR (Augmented Reality) diffractive waveguide optical devices. The company was jointly incubated by the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area National Nanotechnology Innovation Institute. It has a branch office in Hangzhou. In March 2025, it closed a venture funding from new investors Redhill Capital, Ambrum Capital and Guangna Fund.

SEEV has developed AR waveguide etching process preparation technology and silicon carbide DUV (Deep Ultraviolet Lithography) lithography and etching process technology. The company is mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of a full range of AR diffractive waveguide optical devices. Products include top projection series C01C, side projection series C30G, optical module SWM31D, etc. Its technologies and products can be used in AR terminal devices such as AR glasses and AR helmets.

The company generates revenue by providing AR diffractive waveguide optical devices and related products. The company will use the funds to expand the research team and optimize the mass production process of silicon carbide waveguide etching, accelerating the mass production of consumer-grade AR optical modules.
