In 2015, the company was acquired by Bosch, a German automotive components supplier. The company operates as a research and development firm of battery technologies, which can be applied in fields like automotive.


Its technology synthesized and characterized a series of nanostructured solid polymer electrolytes for use in high-energy lithium batteries, which can double the driving range of an electric vehicle.
