Based in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, and founded in 2015, SeedN Co. , Ltd. develops an artificial intelligence AI smart thermostat device called Leaf, which includes an IoT-enabled device and a mobile app. This system enables users to remotely manage their heating and cooling air conditioners.
Designed to work with existing AC units, Leaf also features customizable daily schedules and a timer function for automated usage. In April 2025, SeedN raised KRW 6. 5 billion in series A funding led by new investor Murex Partners, with participation from other new investors Xplor Investment, Industrial Bank of Korea, and SK Shieldus. The company develops and manufactures Leaf, an AI thermostat device that analyzes various data such as real-time weather and indoor temperature and humidity information, predicts energy demand for each space, and adjusts the temperature to an appropriate degree.
SeedN Co. , Ltd. is preparing to grow into a full-fledged building energy operation management platform company by meeting the growing demand for non-face-to-face remote control services in 2021. The company will use the funding in 2025 to support its global expansion efforts.
