Based in New York, US, and founded in 2010 by co-founders Caryn Seidman-Becker and Kenneth Cornick, Secure Identity, LLC, formerly known as Alclear LLC, operates as a developer of a biometric security identity platform used in storing personal information and links it to a biometrical database. In 2010, Alclear LLC the parent company of CLEAR was purchased out of bankruptcy. In June 2021, the company filed to become a public company in NYSE (New York Stock Exchange). In February 2021, Secure Identity, LLC raised USD 100 million in venture funding from 32 Equity, Enlightened Hospitality Investments, Liberty Media Corporation, and LionTree LLC, with participation from Bond, Durable Capital Partners, General Atlantic and Revolution Ventures.

The company's product is called CLEAR, an identity verification platform that provides functions such as biometric identifiers and creates biometrics encrypted code. The individuals' personal information is linked to a biometrical system to bypass security checkpoints by using fingerprint and/or iris identification. It also develops a mobile application wherein users can track the data entered within the system. It offers its product to airports, stadiums, and other related industries across the US.
