In 2017, the company entered the Next Generation Sequencing or NGS service market and launched the Genelix RT-PCR Detection kit for detecting pathogen bacteria. In 2018, SANIGEN Co. , Ltd.

launched Genelix EHEC (VT1, VT2) Duplex RT-PCR and Genelix Rapid DNA extraction kit, and launched Genelix Hepatitis A virus RT-PCR Detection kit in 2019. Genelix 2019-nCoV RT-PCR Detection kit was launched in 2020. The company develops and manufactures Genelix, an RT-PCR diagnostic kit, and various control products that can sterilize and control pathogens and provide next-generation sequencing analysis services including bioinformatics analysis for microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, and yeast as well as food harmful microorganisms. Sanigen plans to advance the next-generation genetic analysis technology and use it to develop products to release NGS panels with core technology by the second half of 2021.
