Based in Sweden and founded in 1944, Rosti Group AB operates as a plastic moulding company that engages in contract manufacturing of packaging, and plastic materials. The company was founded in Denmark by Rolf Fahrenholtz and Stig Jørgensen. In 1965, Rosti became a limited company. Six years later, Rosti became a part of A.
P: Moller-Maersk Group, and started acquiring several companies around the world in that same year, which formed the Rosti Group. In 1989, Rosti split into two divisions; Rosti Industrial and Rosti Houseware. While Rosti Houseware merged with Mepal BV to become Rosti-Mepal, Rosti Industrial was acquired by investment company Nordstjernan in 2010 and became part of Nordstjernan Group. Rosti Group AB has production facilities in Sweden, Germany, Poland, Romania, the UK, Turkey, China and Malaysia.
The group employs over 3,500 people. The company provides injection moulding services including plastic injection moulding, in-mould decoration (IMD), in-mould labelling (IML), decorative technologies, over-moulding, multi-k injection moulding, and liquid silicon rubber (LSR), injection blow moulding, and cleanroom production. The firm also offers services such as DFM analysis (Design for Manufacture), project management, mould development, assembly and supply chain management. Rosti provides these services to the markets including plastic packaging, energy market, consumer market, industrial and technical, life science, business machines, and automotive.
Rosti Group AB generates revenue by providing injection moulding and contract manufacturing services to its customers.
