Based in Genoa, Italy, and founded in 2018, ReLife SpA is a circular economy player focused on the recycling of urban and industrial dry waste. The company was formed from the merger of Benfante S. r. l.
and Cartiera di Bosco Marengo S. R. L. with the backing of Xenon Private Equity.
As of 2021, the company has 56 production lines in 18 production sites located in Liguria, Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto, and Tuscany. In July 2021, Pemberton Capital Advisors provided EUR 265 million debt financing to support the firm's acquisition of Plastipoliver Group and General Packaging Group. ReLife SpA provides transformation of reusable waste and waste collection services in full compliance with legislation, with low costs, and minimal environmental impact. The company's activities are organized into four divisions namely recycling, paper mill, paper packaging, and plastic packaging.
The firm manages the entire process of valorizing separate waste collection, from selection to processing of materials to be recycled, up to their transformation into new consumer goods. Following the financing received from the Pemberton fund in July 2021, ReLife SpA will use the funds to support further acquisitions in the world of the circular economy.
