Reliance Group

Founded in 1998 and based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Reliance Group provider of wealth management solutions, consulting, and financial support services for its business clients. In January 2018, Julius Baer agreed to acquire a 95% majority stake in Reliance Group. The deal was completed in June 2018. Reliance offers a comprehensive suite of advisory services designed to support the lifecycle of wealth planning and portfolio management.

Its service model is built around a dedicated relationship team consisting of a relationship professional, an investment strategist, and operational support staff who manage daily interactions and portfolio maintenance which includes financial planning, incorporating tax analysis, actuarial considerations, succession planning, governance structures, and long-term capital strategy. Beyond planning, Reliance provides access to alternative investments, giving clients opportunities outside conventional asset classes to enhance diversification and capture uncorrelated performance. Throughout the relationship, Reliance conducts periodic scenario discussions, portfolio monitoring sessions, and strategic reviews to ensure alignment with evolving market conditions.
