Established in 2022 and based in Tokyo, Japan, RECERQA Inc. d. b. a RECERQA engages in the development of software that assists with purchases, inventory, and sales management for streamlining business operations.

In April 2026, RECERQA raised JPY 1. 7 billion in series A equity and venture debt funding led by Angel Bridge, with participation from Genesia Ventures, New Commerce Ventures, Mizuho Bank, Shoko Chukin Bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Resona Bank, Joyo Bank and Hokkoku Bank. Individual investors also participated in this round. As of 2023, the company is being led by its CEO, Shotaro Umeda.

The firm develops and offers a smart SCM SaaS-based platform that employs artificial intelligence (AI) to automate business processes of complex purchasing, inventory, and sales management to improve the operational efficiency of businesses. The firm’s Recerqa Scan reads written documents and forms such as invoices and delivery notes to offer low-cost conventional OCR. Additionally, the company employs AI to assist businesses with various management decisions.   The company plans to use April 2026 funds to enhance its Quattro‑based Agentic ERP and scale deployment to major enterprises, supported by organizational expansion and a performance‑based BPO model.
