Founded in 2021 by its CEO, Antoine Welter, and CTO, Xavier Kohll and based in Luxemburg, Circu Li-ion S. The round was part of a larger EUR 20 million series A and grant funding round. Circu Li-ion offers battery recycling and management solutions that include tools used to integrate advanced AI algorithms to optimize battery discharging, dismantling, disassembly, and diagnostic processes. The company uses real-time data collection and analytical algorithms to house and provide actionable insights from this vast data repository with access to a wealth of data points, predictive analytics, and strategic insights. The company plans to use the February 2026 funding to industrialize automated disassembly of electric vehicle systems at large scale.
