Based in Milan, Italy, and co-founded by Fabio Marniga and Stefano Allegra in 2019, Qodeup SRL, accelerated by B4i – Bocconi operates as a technology-based financial services company offering QR code payment system and a digital menu for customers and restaurateurs. Since its inception, the firm has grown through various rounds of funding including its first round of funding in March 2021, and raised EUR 2. 5 million in seed funding led by investor The Techshop, with participation from individual investors in October 2022. The company offers two products one is the multilingual digital menu delivered in software as a service (SaaS) mode and another one is a digital payment application based on QRCode scanning for restaurant chains and their customers.

The digital payment can be made via Apple Pay, Google Pay or credit cards of any circuit and the process can be monitored by the merchant through the company’s web app. The firm plans to utilize its October 2022 funding to further develop its SaaS-based financial product and to enhance the market launch of its payment system.
