Based in Augsburg, Germany, and founded in 2019 by co-CEO Melanie Langermeier, co-CEO Simon Lohmuller, CIO Julian Kienberger, and CTO Thomas Driessen, Qbilon GmbH provides a platform to capture and optimize hybrid IT landscapes, combining information from previously isolated data sources like monitoring tools, virtualization, or cloud platform into an information technology map. In June 2022, Qbilon GmbH raised seed funding from Bayern Kapital, Vetos GmbH and DI Beteiligungs GmbH. The company provides graph analytics and an automation platform that captures data from connected sources and merges it into a consistent overall picture of relevant IT assets like physical and virtual services or IT services. The platform also visualizes a real-time picture of the IT landscape with all dependencies among the captured IT assets.

In addition, Qbilon’s platform offers multiple features, such as continuous auditing, revealing potential bottlenecks, replacing legacy systems and outdated technologies, identifying security weaknesses, customizable views, filter mechanisms, overview tables and diagrams, and more Qbilon generates revenue from the subscription of its platform packages, which depends on the number of captured assets and required customization level. The company plans to use its proceeds from June 2022 funding for adding new analysis functions, technical development, and new application areas.
