Based in London, UK, and founded in 2020, PTO Commercial Ltd, also known as, PTO, is a not-for-profit organization of professional triathletes who have banded together to form a representative body of triathletes. In July 2025, PTO Commercial Ltd raised 40 million in series C led by new investor SURJ Sports Investment , with participation from new investors Verance Capital and Sequoia Capital. Returning investors Cordillera Investment Partners, Warner Bros and Individual Investor and unspecified investors also participated in the round. The firm was formed to represent triathletes’ opinions on how the sport is run.
Through landmark events, innovative programming, and engaging storytelling, the PTO aims to highlight the passion, abilities, tenacity, hardships, and triumphs of its devoted professionals, inspiring worldwide sports fans to watch, engage, and participate in Triathlon. The company will use the July 2025 for global expansion across both elite racing and mass participation, while driving innovation in event formats and long-term fan engagement.
