Founded in 2018 by Aaron Lim (CEO), and Shivam Mani Tripathi (CTO), and based in Singapore, Privyr operates as an online developer and provider of a smartphone-based CRM (Customer Relationship Management) application that allows sales and marketing professionals to manage and contact their leads or clients from a single platform. In June 2022, Privyr raised $6 million in Series A funding co-led by MassMutual Ventures Southeast Asia (MMV SEA) and Vulcan Capital, with participation from Wavemaker Partners, and others. As of June 2022, the company is used in over 75 countries by above 75000 professionals. The company provides a mobile-first sales productivity and workflow management tool that allows salespeople and small businesses to use chat apps such as WhatsApp, SMS, iMessage, phone calls, and so on to convert potential leads into customers and better engage with customers by providing auto-personalized sales and improving client conversion rate.

Individuals can also use the tool to receive instant new lead alerts and download customer information from Facebook lead ads. Furthermore,Privyr provides a privacy policy generator tool for businesses to use in Facebook Lead Ads, TikTok Lead Generation, LinkedIn Lead Generation, and other applications. The firm intends to use the June 2022 funds to expand its product capabilities, increase market penetration, and scale its team from less than ten employees to over 40 within a year.
