raised USD 90 million in venture funding from Eldridge Industries and in March 2021, raised USD 190 million in venture funding co-led by new investor JE Dunn Construction Group, Inc. and returning investor Eldridge Industries. As of 2020, the company has 400 employees and two automated, robotic plants in Colorado and North Carolina. Prescient provides a greener, cost-effective and more sustainable way to build structures by enabling efficiencies that eliminate wastes across the building process, including off-site manufacturing and on-site assembly.

All components of Prescient’s construction materials are made from 100% recycled steel that meets the highest level of LEED1 standards and can be taken apart, reused, or recycled. Prescient's primary market segment is multi-unit buildings and residential construction, including apartments, condos, senior and assisted living communities, hotels, and college and military dormitories. Prescient's software called digital thread is a patented, design and construction platform that provides an efficient, integrated, and transparent approach for advanced professionals to plan, design, and build multi-family housing and hospitality structures. The company also has a hardware technology called unified truss construction system that is a patented structural system using precisely designed light gauge steel panels and trusses combined with Hollow Structural Sections steel posts capable of supporting up to 12 stories.

As of 2020, Prescient has constructed 50 buildings and 8. 3 million square feet of multi-unit housing including condos, market-rate apartments, student housing, senior living, armed forces housing and corporate housing. Prescient plans to expand and grow in the multifamily sector by continuing the development and investments of its technology platforms.
