Prehos

Based in Quebec, Canada, and founded in 2015 by its CEO, Christian Chalifour, and CTO, Michael Dubé, Prehos offers software as a service-based solution for emergency medical services, community paramedicine, care management, and patient transportation planning and optimization. In February 2022, Prehos raised USD 7. 2 million in seed funding from new investors, Desjardins Capital, Dessercom, and Investissement Québec. Other unspecified investors also participated in the funding.

Prehos offers care management software that optimizes operations and enables paramedics based on real-time data analysis and reporting and the patient's health record; Data analytics, quality assurance, and auditing functions allow users to sharpen their images from ePCR and community paramedicine software. Fleet Manager, a web-based platform that provides a real-time picture of the location, activities, maintenance, and inspection data of all vehicles in the fleet; Non-emergency medical transportation leverages the full potential of real-time geospatial data to optimize non-urgent medical transport. Prehos plans to use the seed funding in the development and deployment of its technologies.
