About
Established in 2018 by Geoffrey See (CEO) and Van Tran (CPO), and based in Singapore, Shoppalive Private Limited, trading under the name Poko operates as an online platform that provides payment solutions for wallet-as-a-service providers, marketplace, Web3 developers, and gaming companies. In June 2023, Poko raised USD 4. 5 million in seed funding co-led by Y Combinator, Nazca, and Global Founders Capital, with participation from Amasia VC, CreditEase Wealth Management (Hong Kong), Dentsu Ventures, Goodwater Capital, MS&AD Ventures, Orange DAO, and Soma Capital. The company provides a digital payments platform for Web3 and other global businesses to collect fiat and local currencies.
The company's Onramo Aggregator and Direct Checkout products provide a single integration platform with high transaction success rates at low costs, direct checkouts, no KYC, and the ability to transfer assets seamlessly from local payment rails to Web3 infrastructure. The company intends to use the June 2023 funding to expand its product development.
