, a portfolio company of JMI Equity and Mainsail Partners agreed to acquire Pitstop from Fontinalis Partners, Verizon Ventures, BDC Capital, Extreme Venture Partners, MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund, Ontario Centre of Innovation, Hike Ventures, Ripple Ventures, WorldQuant Ventures, Sensata Technologies, Inc. , In Revenue Capital, SaaS Ventures, Service Provider Capital, and Tech Square Ventures. Financial terms were not disclosed. The company offers predictive fleet maintenance insights software, based on AI-driven insights and automated maintenance features as well as on real-time vehicle data, for the transportation industry to reduce fleet downtime and maintenance costs.

The software provides predictive insights on battery and brake health, fuel anomalies, tire health, engine airflow, etc by leveraging 7 Billion data points, prioritizes fault codes where drivers can report issues based on the priority, allowing managers to plan maintenance, and prescriptive alerts with an explanation of the issue, and the cause. The software also offers smart preventative scheduling, customized fleet reporting, and digital work order creation and management features. Pitstop also offers a fleet electrification plan to determine and decide which electric vehicle (EV) to select, which assets to swap over to EV based on utilization, etc. The March 2026 acquisition will enable Fullbay, Inc.

to add Pitstop’s AI-powered predictive maintenance to its platform, enabling fleets and repair shops to adopt proactive, data-driven upkeep.
