Established in 2021 and based in Beijing, China, Pimchip is a semiconductor company that focuses on AI (artificial intelligence) accelerator chip. The CEO (Chief Executive Officer) and founder Dr. Yue Yang has a PhD in computer engineering from the University of Toronto.

He served as chief system architect in Micron Technology, Inc. The founder Mr. Zhenlong Xu graduated from Tsinghua University in Hsinchu, has worked at TSMC and has more than 20 years of experience in chip design. The company's main products include smart vision chip PIMCHIP-S200 and intelligent voice chip PIMCHIP-S100, these chips are based on SRAM for in-storage computing infrastructure validation and new memory expansion research technology lines.

Up to now, the company has developed and implemented several SRAM-based in-store computing acceleration units. The company provides hardware units and related IC (integrated circuit chip) design services based on storage and computing integrated technology for customers. The products used in the field of wearable devices, drone cameras, security, robots and smart home. In 2021, the company released three flow chips represented by 28nm SRAM in-store computing gas pedals.
