Additionally, in September 2010, Maxim Integrated Products, Inc (Nasdaq: MXIM) acquired Phyworks Ltd. for approximately USD 72. 5 million in cash. The company's line of products includes analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) designed to provide ultra-high-performance to optical fiber and copper cable communications in datacom, storage, and telecom systems - specifically fiber-to-the-home (FTTH).
