In January 2022, Permiso Security raised USD 10 million in Seed funding led by new investor Point72 Ventures with participation from other new investors 11. 2 Capital, Foundation Capital, Rain Capital, Work-Bench, and individual investors. The company launched p0, a new cloud detection and response service in June 2022.

As of 2022, Permiso has two Co-CEOs Jason Martin and Paul Nguyen, who lead the company’s 17 employees. Permiso is a computer and network security company that delivers cloud security to companies and individuals. Permiso’s team of engineers, researchers, and designers provide a cloud compromise assessment, which identifies people who have access to a client’s cloud, the nature of their access, and the method of that access. It also sees what they have done in the cloud and the cause of the access.

Clients can then export this information in minutes. The company has another service, p0 (Priority Zero) Labs, which develops new methods to identify and eliminate threats. With the Seed funding, the company will triple its current team and expand its current customer footprint.
