About

Founded in 2017 and based in Reykjavik, Iceland, PayAnalytics operates as a cloud-based software solution that helps companies monitor, address, and close pay gaps. The software offers a suite of compensation analytics tools focused on helping companies measure and close pay gaps. The company was co-founded by Sigurjón Pálsson (CEO), Gardar Hauksson (CTO), and David Anderson. In December 2023, beqom SA, a portfolio company of Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division, Vinci Capital Partners, Isatis Capital, Swisscom Ventures, Renaissance PME, Sumeru Equity Partners, and Access2net, agreed to acquire PayAnalytics ehf.

PayAnalytics provides companies with a real-time view of their pay gap and compensation structure. HR managers can use PayAnalytics to assess the gender pay gap's impact on each salary decision. The software analyzes company-wide raises, ad-hoc adjustments, and the effects of new hires, helping prevent the re-emergence of a pay gap after closure. It also breaks down the additional salary costs needed to close the pay gap, allowing HR managers to plan and allocate resources before implementing raises.
