Packwise GmbH

Based in Dresden, Germany, and founded in 2017 by its CEO, Gesche Weger, and co-founders, Felix Weger and René Bernhardt, Packwise GmbH operates as an in-browser software for managing intelligent containers. In March 2021, Packwise GmbH raised an undisclosed amount of series A funding led by a Technologiegruenderfonds Sachsen, with participation from Golzern Holding. As of July 2022, the company has a team of 20 people who handle over 40 clients. Packwise GmbH offers Smart Cap with a plug-and-play sensor that enables tracking of analogue containers digitally using IIoT technology.

It collects data on fill level, temperature, location, and movement directly on the container and can be integrated directly into an ERP system. The company also offers the corresponding application, Packwise Flow, a browser-based intelligent container management software that digitally maps the condition of containers and optimizes as well as automates processes within the supply chain. The company's client base includes Hakle, Zentis, Solvay, and Servophil.   The company plans to use the series A funding to expand its geographic footprint in Europe as well as work on new international markets where business links are already established, further improving development and sales partnerships.
