Based in Paris, France, and co-founded by Augustin Clément-Fromentel and Hadrien Clément-Fromentel in 2009, Orion Energies operates as a solar power company developing and producing solar photovoltaic solutions. In May 2023, the firm’s minority stakes were acquired by Weinberg Capital Partners. The company offers a development, financing, construction, and operation platform for photovoltaic solar power plant development in France and abroad. The range of solutions offered by the company includes photovoltaic buildings, roofs, parking shades, ground-mounted solar power stations, and photovoltaic greenhouses, tailored to the client’s needs.

Orion Energies enable individuals and organizations to actively participate in the renewable energy transition by implementing photovoltaic projects from design to operation and providing comprehensive support throughout the entire lifecycle of projects. The company became an independent electricity producer by operating in-house developed photovoltaic power plants in 2020 and as of May 2023, it operates more than 150 power plants. The company’s solutions contribute to the energy transition and decentralization, utilizing renewable and local energy sources. The May 2023 investment will assist Orion Energies in defining an impact plan as part of its new phase of development.
