Based in Beijing, China, and founded in 2023, OpenCSG operates as an AI big model open source service provider, focusing on modeling and development-as-a-service platform. The founder, Ran Chen, is the former CEO and founder of Jihu GitLab and worked at IBM, HP, Mesosphere, and other tech companies. OpenCSG's self-developed StarNet platform is a large language model training and management system based on cloud-native K8S technology. It consists of modules such as the StarCloud, StarStream, and StarChain, which can realize cloud-native base and arithmetic resource management. The platform also provides LLM large model optimization capability and a low-code link fusion framework. StarNet also has the ability to manage the arithmetic network with current arithmetic power coordination and intelligent scheduling and is able to provide solutions characterized by large data throughput, fast computation speed, multiple algorithmic tools, hardware and software synergy, and moderate service prices.

The company's revenue is generated from researchers requesting GPU resources on the platform.
