One Twenty AG

Based in Zurich, Switzerland, and founded in 2018 by co-founders Michael Rottmann and Julian M. Stiels, OneTwenty offers next-generation intelligence to insulin pumps, smart pens, and other medical devices to make diabetes care smarter, more reliable, and more reassuring. In January 2024, OneTwenty raised venture funding led by investor Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures, with participation from another investor, Tiny Super Computer Investment Company. OneTwenty AG developed bioX, a next-generation intelligence system for insulin pumps, smart pens, and other medical devices.

The bioX technology comprises bioX neoAP for connected insulin pumps and MDI solutions, bioX DT for Digital Twin Engine, and bioX sensAI for sensor optimization. The applications leverage machine learning to provide real-time control and support for insulin-based therapies, create digital twins for personalised health data predictions, and optimise sensor data translation with groundbreaking accuracy. The company plans to use the January 2024 funding to scale up its technology and continue the development of its solutions.
