Based in Taipei, China, and established in 2017, Nuwa Robotics is an artificial intelligence (AI) technology company that provides smart home robots. Liuzong Guo, the company's CEO, served as a senior executive at Foxconn Technology Group and Softbank. Weijie, Li, the company's CTO, graduated from the Institute of Computer Science, Tsinghua University, Taiwan, and has more than 30 years of experience in communication-related core software development, and is responsible for the content system architecture of Nuwa Robotics. The company has additional offices in Chengdu, Hong Kong, and Shenzhen.
In August 2023, Nuwa Robotics raised approximately TWD 200 million in series B funding led by new investor Nuwa Robotics. Nuwa Robotics provides smart home robots, Danny robots, which can storytelling, game playing, programming training, voice assistant, and smart control home devices of the Xiaomi brand. The Danny robot is equipped with 12 AI servos, MCU microcontrollers, human infrared sensing, fall arrest infrared sensing, and touch sensing. The Danny robot's size is 355mm x 347mm x 196mm, and its weight is 4.
4 kg. The company also provides robots, Kebbi Air S, which can provide K12 education for kids. And the Kebbi Air S robots also can be applied in restaurant sceneries, such as welcoming guests, product introduction, reception, dishes delivery.
