Established in 2020 and based in Nanjing, China, Neuro Dawn is a biopharmaceutical company that focuses on the research and development of central nervous system (CNS) drugs. The company mainly involved in the field of cognitive impairment, affective disorder, neuropathic pain, and cerebrovascular disease. Besides, it established small molecular new drugs R&D platforms and production bases. In November 2023, the firm raised series B funding from new investor Tencent Investment.

In November 2024, it closed a series C funding. The company's pipeline includes the Y-1 project for Alzheimer's disease drugs, the Y-2 project for stroke drugs, the Y-3 project for stroke and post-stroke depression, the Y-4 project for neuropathic pain drugs, the Y-5 project for cerebral small blood vessels disease, Y-6 project for post-stroke repair and Y-8 project for treatment of ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and spinal cord injury. And the Y-2 project has entered into clinical phase 3, the Y1 project, the Y3 project, and the Y6 project have entered into clinical phase 2, and other new drug projects will enter into clinical phase 1. Those drugs use the technologies of sublingual drug delivery formulation and multi-target drug development.

The company’s revenue is generated by providing drugs for central nervous system diseases. The company will use the series C funding for the development and launch of core pipelines, the construction of independent innovation platforms and the company's global layout.
