Based in Massachusetts, US, and founded in 2021 by its CEO Sean Kevlahan, and co-founders Thomas Neenan, and Shashi Murthy, Nanite Inc. operates as an AI-driven non-viral gene delivery company that helps in developing a new class of programmable polymer nanoparticles. In February 2023, Nanite Inc. raised USD 6 million in seed funding led by Zetta Venture Partners, with participation from Arkitekt Ventures.

Nanite Inc. provides the SAYER platform, which combines cutting-edge high-throughput experimental and computational methods to design cargo and tissue specific delivery vehicles. Its artificial intelligence models guide functional chemistry to design therapeutically relevant gene delivery vehicles and provide biological screening, as well as multiple polymers tested for trafficking, tropism, and expression in a single pass.
